Size: ~5mm
I think this is Toxomerus Politus. Love the pattern and coloring on the abdomen. Looks like it was designed back in the 1970's :^P.... Ohhh, it's late, got to get some sleep!

Nice job with the wing veins and blue accents. I believe the design predates the 1970s.

A little jealous
I've IDed a third of them (well, there aren't very many) but haven't seen one myself. They seem to be eastern. Will have to keep my eyes peeled when in KS. Glad I could be of assistance.
