Shadow Darner?
Looks like a Shadow Darner to me...but I'm no expert. Just saw my first one the other day, in my yard.

more like Lance-tipped
Shadow Darner has a much thinner and straighter front stripe. Without double-checking any references, I think this is Lance-tipped. Check against Green-striped and Canada as well.

What's it perching on? Lance-tipped is known for perching on little things low to the ground, which this almost looks like.

Lance-tipped
I believe it's perched on some sort of wood-sorrel. Basically on the ground. I was actually calling it a Lance-tipped, but was unsure of how to seperate from Green-striped in these images. Thank you for your help.

yes
This is Lance-tipped.
