ca.5320 ft. elev. Ponderosa pine/oak/juniper forest, vic. of Tonto Creek.
Found on juniper tree on 30 Apr 2017 and collected, size ca. 40mm. Provided juniper cuttings which it ate.

wondering for years what this caterpillar turned into and I finally succeeded in getting two of them to adulthood.

Caterpillar looks like Lophocampa argentata
