Nepytia umbrosaria (T) - Archirhoe associata

Nepytia umbrosaria (T) - Archirhoe associata
Big Lava Bed, GPNF, 2000 ft., Skamania County, Washington, USA
July 27, 2007
Attracted to lights. Looks a little different. Tentative ID.

Moved
Moved from Nepytia umbrosaria.

Congrats!

Larentiinae
Note, the PM lines on the hind-wings have a large bump in the middle. Also, the terminal edges have thin, double dashes. These are qualities that do not fit well in the genus Nepytia.
I think that this belongs in the genus Archirhoe and it may be a new species for the guide. I'm checking on this now. (ten years later...sorry!) Have a look at the MPG images of Archirhoe associata.
