Trypherus but which one? Using the Pelletier and Hebert key (1) suggests it’s T. latipennis and not T. frisoni (“transverse” pronotum, 1.17x as wide as it is long). However, the guide says there are 5 North American species in this genus and I can’t find any info on the other 3.
Thanks in advance

probably correct id
i wish someone took it upon himself to dive deep into this family and figure out what is really going on, species-wise

Moved from Beetles.

Can't find anything
on this genus. A Google search turns up only the Canadian paper and that covers only 2 species. The Brancucci revision paper isn't available on line
