Neozygina veracruzensis - male

Neozygina veracruzensis - Male
Houston, Harris County, Texas, USA
June 11, 2017
This is one of three males collected by sweepnet from a Mimosa sp. and sent to Dr. Chris Dietrich, who determined that all three were Neozygina veracruzensis. He notes that this is a U.S. record and that the species was previously recorded only from Veracruz, Mexico.

It looks a lot like the two female Neozygina specimens I've posted, one in 2013 and one in 2014. (However, there are other similar species in the S.W. USA, so they can't be ID'd to species with confidence except from male genitalia. (C. Dietrich, pers. comm.))
