robber fly from gopher tortoise burrow - Machimus
Alapaha River WMA, Irwin County, Georgia, USA
June 29, 2017
This flew out of a gopher tortoise burrow and is the right color for Machimus polyphemi.I left the fingertip in for an approximate size reference.
