Beetle - Trigonorhinus rotundatus

Beetle - Trigonorhinus rotundatus
Allison Park, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, USA
July 1, 2017
Size: 2 mm
At the bottom of my net with the usual Trigonorhinus rotundatus that infest my tall grass. Noticeably smaller than the rest. I thought maybe it was a male but I've posted a mating pair and the male was similar to the female.

Moved from Fungus Weevils.

Tom Murray posted one like this, also smaller

looks like a cleanly denuded dwarf T.r.
can't think of any alternatives, but having it examined by an expert would be a good idea
