Damselfly - Ischnura cervula - male

Damselfly - Ischnura cervula - Male
Bonney Lake, Pierce County, Washington, USA
June 18, 2007
I looked through the bluets, but didn't see a match.

Moved
Looks like a match to me. Thanks for the help.

The unusual pattern of blue
on the end of the abdomen would have us say Ischnura. The spots on the thorax say cervula. Check in the guide here to see what you think.

Lynette, The Seattle Audubon Society published a small pamphlet by Dennis Paulson called the Dragonflies of Washington. If you can find it, you'll like it.
