Scarab Beetle - Aegialia blanchardi

Scarab Beetle - Aegialia blanchardi
Plum Island, Essex County, Massachusetts, USA
October 12, 2004
This small scarab was on a beach near beach grass. It's legs look hairy, does that help narrow it down ?

Moved
Moved from Aegialia.

Outstanding
These are rarely seen, not to mention photographed, this is Aegialia blanchardi

Aegialia blanchardi
