Sorry, I meant that if one knows the family
but are not certain of the species, post to Family and not to ID Request nor to generic Moths, but we could have that wrong. We don't think Kyhl looked at this one so he wouldn't have doubted the ID.

Generally I would recommend that as well. However, there were fewer than a dozen images at family level before I moved several out just now. I'd put gelechiids, scythridids, and blastobasids at family (or subfamily, in the last case), but all other gelechioids at superfamily. Those are the three taxa I check, at least. The others are fairly empty.
