Hey, I was just commenting one like this, that may be mis-IDed into another sub-family.

OK I just learned something. But can't quite figure out what is meant by branched or un-branched.

It's a guy!
Sometimes they are technically referred to as: plumose = ♂ and filiform = ♀ -- Here is a chart for you: OK, filiform or setaceous seem like they are more confusing terms than un-branched.
Note, this rule does not always apply. Some species are not dimorphic.
