Epeolini on Asclepias tuberosa - Epeolus lectoides - female

Epeolini on Asclepias tuberosa - Epeolus lectoides - Female
Lena Park, Starke County, Indiana, USA
July 6, 2017
This seemed smaller than the Epeolini cuckoo bees I've previously photographed, but that's just an impression. On Asclepias tuberosa in a sand prairie and oldfield area. Lots of Monarda fistulosa was blooming nearby, but I only saw this bee on the butterfly milkweed.

thanks!
Much appreciated Dr. Ascher. It was my impression these were, at times, fairly common at this site -- I found it interesting that Discover Life doesn't list A. tuberosa as an associated plant, but all the photos of it on BG show it visiting A. tuberosa.
