Sharpshooter - Cuerna costalis

Sharpshooter - Cuerna costalis
Columbia Audubon Nature Sanctuary, Boone County, Missouri, USA
July 7, 2017
This seems to match Cuerna striata, as found in one of my guides, and I believe that is a bug that should be here in our area (Midwest, Missouri). However I don't see them in Data for Midwest or East or South. Is this considered a different species?

These were found on Compass Plant - Silphium laciniatum.

This may be Cuerna costalis.

Thanks John!
That makes sense.
