Coleothorpa vittigera
was what I was thinking. Different genus, I know, and I might be far off, but the C vittigera seems to have same eletytral pattern, overall color/size/structure seem similar. Coleothorpa vittigera occurs in CO and has a fondness for roses, which is what my specimen was feeding on. So...
