Half-wing - Phigalia titea - male

Half-wing - Phigalia titea - Male
Warren County, New York, USA
March 31, 2005
Size: 3 cm, resting wingspread
I thought that I had gotten pictures of two species today, so I was surprised to see both of them on Lynn Scott's page for Phigalia titea. Also compare CBIF and MPG .

Nice Photo, Bob
I've beem meaning to add the melanics to the MPG plate. I had a photo of one on an unidentified page for almost a year until Hugh McGuinness identified it for me. Lovely shot.
