Size: 5-6mm total
Very small (~5-6mm with outstretched legs) cribellate orb weaver found in Austin TX. Best guess is Uloborus glomosus but could not find any images with matching markings. Very interested in ID as I have never seen one of these before, online or in person.

Hi,
Uloboridae are really odd and cryptic spiders. This one is resting in the staple way Uloborous do, so I would guess that this is one of them.
They actually don't rely on venom to subdue their prey!
