P. occitanica
is an elm feeder described from Texas in the 1800s; Braun never saw specimens and wondered if it might be a synonym of
P. argentinotella
. As far as I know there are no other records of it. I just wrote to Don Davis to see what he thinks about these moths.

Confirmed
Don agrees that both moths appear to be
P. occitanica
, which he does consider to be a good species distinct from
P. argentinotella
.

Adult emerged
It at least resembles
Phyllonorycter argentinotella
, although a little different from the other examples I've seen.

This looks like Phyllonorycte
This looks like Phyllonorycter to me, although the mine extends more onto the upper side than most Phyllonorycter.
