D1761
D1761 emerged (along with a eulophid) and is the same species.

Moved
Moved from Phyllonorycter argentinotella.

See note under the moth to the left. P. occitanica is an elm feeder described from Texas in the 1800s; Braun never saw specimens and wondered if it might be a synonym of P. argentinotella. As far as I know there are no other records of it. I just wrote to Don Davis to see what he thinks about these moths.

Confirmed
Don agrees that both moths appear to be P. occitanica, which he does consider to be a good species distinct from P. argentinotella.

Adult emerged
It at least resembles Phyllonorycter argentinotella, although a little different from the other examples I've seen.

Moved
Moved from Unidentified Leaf Mines.

This would be a new host record as well as a new state record.

This looks like Phyllonorycte
This looks like Phyllonorycter to me, although the mine extends more onto the upper side than most Phyllonorycter.
