Vine Sphinx Moth - Eumorpha vitis

Vine Sphinx Moth - Eumorpha vitis
San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas, USA
October 14, 2015
Size: 4 in wingspan
Scared my son after it landed on his bedroom curtain. Thought it was a banded sphinx but it doesn't have that brown leading edge one it's wing. Gently caught and released it outside.
