Small Milkweed Bug Nymphs? - Oncopeltus fasciatus

Small Milkweed Bug Nymphs? - Oncopeltus fasciatus
Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge, Queens County, New York, USA
August 26, 2007
Size: two distinct sizes
I'm not a plant person, but I think this is a milkweed pod. I saw one actual adult Small Milkweed Bug in the vicinity. Two distinct sizes here. Possibly both large and small milkweed bug nymphs judging by the pictures in the guide.

Moved
Moved from True Bugs.

I am...
and it definitely is (A plant person/a milkweed pod, that is)...

The pattern looks wrong for small milkweed bug
We would say these are Oncopeltus nymphs instead. Here
