Hello Dave,
I finally had a very good specimen last night which I will send to BOLD. They have very good DNA on P. rusticaria, so my results should confirm which species we have here. Their results for P. laredoata are pretty sketchy.
As Kyle commented here, all of the BOLD tested Protoproutia speciens for rusticaria were from this area. However, ours do not have a lighter hind wing.
Just sent off a microplate, so it will take a while for me to get enough specimens for another plate. Sorry.

P. rusticaria
is "very similar to
laredoata
Cass. but with the basal two-thirds of both wings much paler and with, in consequence, better defined maculation." Moved from
