Insect that bit me

Please do not delete this post as I am very concerned. I posted it on the bug identifier, but haven't received a response, I wanted to post here as well in case any experts are just surfing the forum rather than the ID request section. This insect was on my neck and I believe that it bit me. About a week later I felt lightheaded, experienced heart palpitations, and then extreme anxiety. I am trying to investigate whether there is a possible link and whether I could be infected.

Beetle
Looks like a metallic wood-boring beetle- family Buprestidae. They don't bite and have no venom. Your symptoms must be from something else.
