Mole Cricket - Neoscapteriscus vicinus

Mole Cricket - Neoscapteriscus vicinus
Jacksonville, campus of Coastal Carolina Community College, Onslow County, North Carolina, USA
September 11, 2015
Wings appear too short for Northern Mole Cricket (Neocurtilla hexadactyla), but perhaps they are not yet fully developed. Wing length right size for Short-winged Mole Cricket (Neoscapteriscus abbreviatus), but the location is far north of known range of Short-winged.
