Thanks for the back-up Peter! Some of the other images from Florida may be misplaced. The males of this species have a bulge on the costal edge, near the median band. I don't see that on the other species. (...except in Florida)

Rain on the parade
In the meantime I have been alerted by Curtis Lehman of BAMONA to the fact that male Lascoria orneodalis and L. alucitalis are not easily separated on photos, and my further research tells me that this may be true. L. orneodalis here in North Florida is perhaps unlikely because it's too far north for it - yours may be ok, who knows.

Disregard previous. Having learned more from Peter via email about these two species, I am removing my previous comments which would only cause confusion. I did add a link on the info page to Kimball (1965) which does give some info on how one might be able to distinguish the two.

Not an expert -
but I agree with Bob - a male Lascoria orneodalis.

Hi Bob, Many thanks for your assistance. Kind Regards, Jim

Your Welcome!
Notched wing shape = ♂
Since this guy was found in Florida, it might be a male Lascoria orneodalis, but I'm not sure. Let's wait for an expert.
