sorry about the poor quality. I was actually photographing Great Black Wasps at AHueston woods and didnt notice this little insect untril I was at home viewing the pics on my computer. If someone can help with an ID that would be great. I'm not really sure it's a wasp really. Some of the pics look like wasp and some look more like a leather wing.

it looks to be the same. I appreciate you trying. I know these pics werent good. I was photographing wasps and when I got the pics home I noticed these little guys in almost all the pics. There were quite a few of them but none of the shots of the wasps included a good shot of these guys. I wish I hadnt been so wrapped up in the wasps. It would have been nice to have gotten a few good shots of these little red buggers. Thanks again!
