Pickerelweed Borer? - Bellura

Pickerelweed Borer? - Bellura
Plainsboro Preserve, Middlesex County, New Jersey, USA
July 15, 2017
This moth was found on a night when we put a sheet with CFL lights out on the deck at Plainsboro Preserve. It did not come to the sheet, but landed on the ground a little ways away from the sheet (where it was fairly dark).

This looks like a Bellura sp. borer moth. The warm color and orange-filled reniform spot suggest Pickerelweed Borer Moth (B. densa), but I know the taxonomy of this group is complicated, so I would appreciate a second opinion.

Plainsboro Preserve has a variety of habitat including forest, grassland, a leased farm field, and a lake. The site was formerly a farm, and then (briefly) a sand mine.
