Leafhopper - Eupteryx melissae

Leafhopper - Eupteryx melissae
Lacey (near Olympia), Thurston County, Washington, USA
August 27, 2007
Checked this one against the leafhoppers in the guide and didn't have much luck. Can someone narrow it down a little for me?

Moved

Eupteryx melissae
An introduced European leafhopper that feeds on mints.

well narrowed down :)
I would call that "narrowing it down a little". :) Thanks very much, Dr. Hamilton. Interestingly enough, we happen to have two very large mint plants on the other side of the yard from where I photographed this leafhopper.

I noticed that you (or someone) put it under hemiptera. I know it's not a very good photo, but should I put it under genus Eupteryx?

Thanks again,
Kevin
