Syrphus knabi
Syrphus knabi ..... female.
Dorsum very bright orange/yellow for full length at sides, Lower frons shining yellow, thick grey stripes on dorsum, yellow bands broadly overlapping side margins of abdomen, hind metatarsus can be seen through left wing to be orange, fore and middle legs and their tarsi all bright yellow/orange. Heavily pruinose frons with very narrow black mark in middle. Two isolated black dots above antennae (See other image).
