Square-headed wasp on Asclepias verticillata - Lestica

Square-headed wasp on Asclepias verticillata - Lestica
Lena Park, Starke County, Indiana, USA
July 15, 2017
A small wasp on Asclepias verticillata on a sand old field/prairie; the blossoms provide some scale. I'd est. 10 mm. Perhaps in Ectemnius or Lestica; I don't see the longitudinal groove medially on the eye (that, if present, would indicate Lestica), but I'm not sure I'd recognize it. I'm counting 11 flagomeres, which would indicate 'male', but I'm not yet confident enough to check the box.

Square-headed wasp
Gender? It looks like 10 flagellomeres and 1 pedical, (= ♀) but it hard to see that and also, the exact number of abdominal segments.
The angular head-shape is ringing some bells, but I will have to check for some more examples with this kind of anatomy.

yes 10
yes, 10 flagomeres, plus a pedical, I see that now.
