This is a new host for
Pachyschelus
--collect all you can. If this is like all the other Fabaceae miners, the larvae will overwinter in the leaves before pupating. One of the three live ones has already spun its circular cocoon.

Exciting! I thought it might
Exciting! I thought it might be something interesting. I collected all I saw at the time, and will check again once I get back there in mid-August. There are only two plants of this species that I know about on campus (they are reliable and have come up for the past 3 years in the same place), so there might not be much more to find. Still, I will keep looking.
