fly from spotted cucumber beetle - Celatoria diabroticae

fly from spotted cucumber beetle - Celatoria diabroticae
San Leandro, Alameda County, California, USA
July 12, 2017
I had a spotted cucumber beetle (Diabrotica undecimpunctata) in a container by itself for a few days. Then one day I noticed only the beetle exoskeleton was there, plus a fly pupa that must have consumed most of the body of the beetle.
