Size: 5mm
Five days later the fly emerged. According to this UC IPM page, there's a tachinid, Celatoria diabroticae, that parasitizes spotted cucumber beetles. It seems that's what this is?

I'm happy to know that someone is busy destroying a few of the spotted cucumber beetles in my garden....
