6168 Eupatorium Plume Moth adult and larva - Oidaematophorus eupatorii Fredericton, York County, New Brunswick, Canada July 16, 2017
Two fuzzy larvae and a tachinid fly pupa were collected from a folded leaf of Eupatorium maculatum - Spotted Joe-pye Weed on 19 June 2017. Two adults were observed in the jar on 16 July, but they likely emerged a day or two before. The tachinid fly also emerged, but around 7 July. Specimen of moth is TR-05a, of fly, TR-05b.
