green beetle beneath cow pie -
Poecilus scitulus
Adobe Creek Reservoir, Kiowa County, Colorado, USA
July 22, 2017
Heavily grazed, course sandy soil with grass and forbs. Found when a flipped a dried "cow pie" -- some sort of darkling beetle that isn't darkling?
