Swarming ants - Lasius americanus

Swarming ants - Lasius americanus
Owen Sound, Grey, Ontario, Canada
July 17, 2017
Size: 4 mm
These ants appear every year mid July on the bathroom window frame and then disappear until the next year. Some have wings but don't seem to fly much. Others are wing free. They are brown/black. Up to 4 mm in size. Do you think these are carpenter ants?

Moved
Not carpenter ants, but do inhabit moist, rotten wood, so you might want to check that window frame's condition.
