Highrise Spider - Larinioides sclopetarius

Highrise Spider - Larinioides sclopetarius
Chicago, Cook County, Illinois, USA
July 21, 2017
Size: Approx 1inch overall
Found on a west facing porch of a highrise building in downtown Chicago. The spider was photographed around 5pm central time. This is a photograph of the largest spider. The spider is accompanied by at least two significantly smaller spiders (not even 1/4 inch) of what appear to be the same species. Unfortunately I did not obtain a photograph of the spider from the top side, but if necessary to identify I will try again when the spider comes out tomorrow.
