Size: 3 cm
Saved this big guy from the pool. You'll notice that it's wet with water droplets on its eyes and back.
I set him on the horsetail grass and he's still in the same spot hours later. I know he's still alive because he tracks me with those giant eyes.

Amazed
Yeah, it was certainly an amazing creature to behold. It was still in the same spot twelve hours later, I was hoping to get a few better photos with it being dry but it flew away before I had a chance to.

I make a point to save any living thing from the pool. I've noticed that bees that appear dead will sometimes be revived by drying out in the sun.
