Tiny nymph - Neolygus

Tiny nymph - Neolygus
Alexandria, Fairfax County, Virginia, USA
April 29, 2007
This little guy was so tiny that I didn't even know what he was till I downloaded the photos to my computer. Does anyone know what he's going to grow up to be?

prob. Neolygus sp. -- det. M.D. Schwartz
Moved from Mirini.

Moved
Moved from Lygus bugs.

It's not Lygus.
If it is Lygus, it should have large dark dots that are regularly arranged.

Moved
Moved from not yet identified nymphs. put with this one

Moved
Moved from Plant Bugs.

Moved
Moved from True Bugs.

hard to say
Hard to say with bug nymphs, but I would lean toward Miridae.

I agree.
Probably a nymph of genus Lygus. Moving to family for now.
