Found on gravel road, in woods of predominantly sweet gum, red (swamp) maple, red oak, tulip poplar, beech, and loblolly pine. Lethargic, although appearing uninjured in any way.

Thanks so much for the ID - the RMM is a fairly common visitor, here - but this is the first time I've seen its cat. Now, I'll put it on the ground, near the red (swamp) maples ... as it's likely it intended to go to ground, to pupate and over-winter ...
