Mass Emergence - Callibaetis floridanus

Mass Emergence - Callibaetis floridanus
Alexandria, Fairfax County, Virginia, USA
July 29, 2017
Size: 6.5mm
I pulled back the curtains on my French doors this morning to find that the glass was covered in mayflies. This is the first time I've seen this many at once around here. The motion of the curtains made some depart, but I can see from my photo of the door that most were still in their skins when I took the photo at 6:30. Several hours later, they had emerged, only their exuviae left behind, except some stragglers that I photographed and am posting here.

Callibaetis floridanus
Hi Ashley-

I believe both the male subimago (lower mayfly in photo), and presumably the excuvia (upper mayfly in photo) to be Callibaetis floridanus. However, for future submissions, please limit them to one individual per submission. Thanks,

Much appreciated
I wasn't sure if more would aid with ID. Thanks for cleaning up.
