Spider with egg sac? - Schizocosa

Spider with egg sac? - Schizocosa
Lake Roland Park, Baltimore County, Maryland, USA
July 30, 2017
Size: 1/4 - 1/2"
Moving across leaf litter on ground.

Moved
Moved from Wolf Spiders.

Moved for the experts
Moved from Spiders. I agree with family but the bulk of the legs suggests a genus other than Pardosa.

Wolf spider, Lycosidae
Hi Pauline,
This is a Wolf Spider. By the size, and the fact she has an egg sac, I would guess a Pardosa species. They are harmless spiders who love to parade around the garden!
Have a great day.

Thank you
Not in the garden, along a trail through moist woods.
