Epinotia Moth perhaps - Epinotia transmissana

Epinotia Moth perhaps - Epinotia transmissana
Block Island, Washington County, Rhode Island, USA
July 28, 2017
I wonder if this might be Walker's Epinotia (Epinotia transmissana) like ? This is one of the few Northeastern Eucosmini that has a medial white patch that does NOT extend to the costa and also lacks a terminal white patch. At UV light, Rodman's Hollow.

Moved, Epinotia transmissana
Moved from Eucosmini. Looks good to be. I think I assumed at the time this was parmatana, but the different fringe and the patterning in the terminal area (white patch vs. orange patterning) seem to separate them.

Epinotia transmissana
I was pretty sure too. It's a nice addition to our BI collection
