Caterpillar Feeding on Caesarweed (urena lobata)-2 - Anomis illita

Caterpillar Feeding on Caesarweed (urena lobata)-2 - Anomis illita
Circle B Bar Reserve, Polk County, Florida County, Florida, USA
August 2, 2017
Size: Estimated at 1"
Caesarweed leaves were severely eaten and these caterpillars were the only thing I found on them. I have pictures of two more individuals I will submit separately. I think they are all the same species, but maybe different instars. This one has some pinkish tones that the other two did not. I saw a black-bordered lemon moth (Mariamatha nigrofimbira) and a Southern Pink-striped Oakworm moth (Anisota virginiensis) in the area. Looking at the book, I think it resembles Anomis sp caterpillars, but I couldn't identify it.

Anomis looks correct
Looks like a number of them feed on Urena based on Caterpillar hostplant database
erosa has been found feeding on it in the USA

Thanks
That's a useful link that you provided. I have only found a few pictures of the A. erosa, and none of them show the regular pattern of dots that my specimens do. I wonder if that is significant. Thanks for your response.
