Caterpillar Feeding on Caesarweed (urena lobata)-3 - Anomis illita

Caterpillar Feeding on Caesarweed (urena lobata)-3 - Anomis illita
Polk County, Florida County, Florida, USA
August 2, 2017
Size: Estimated at 1"
Caesarweed leaves were severely eaten and these caterpillars were the only thing I found on them. I have pictures of two more individuals I will submit separately. I think they are all the same species, but maybe different instars. I saw a black-bordered lemon moth (Mariamatha nigrofimbira) and a Southern Pink-striped Oakworm moth (Anisota virginiensis) in the area. Looking at the book, I think it resembles Anomis sp caterpillars, but I couldn't identify it.

Thanks. I did rear two of them to adults, but not the same individuals pictured. I believe based on the adults that they are A. illita.
