Gray Moth - Macaria bitactata - male

Gray Moth - Macaria bitactata - Male
Chelan, Chelan County, Washington, USA
July 31, 2017
Found at Grouse Mountain Campground. Could it be Macaria bitactata?

Moved tentatively to Speranza bitactata
Moved from ID Request.

I'm not hands-on familiar with your fauna, but this looks good to me. Someone more familiar with PNW may have know better.

Name search
Hmm. When I searched Macaria bitactata in BG nothing turned up. However, it is in the MPG site.

Guide Page
Chris,
After researching this moth, and completing the guide page, I find it has more synonyms than I cared to list. On BG, it's known as Speranza bitactata, which we may well change in the future.

Name changes
Yeah. After I posted that comment I noticed it was the same species. By the way, I looked at your collection earlier. Liked your favorites. Lots of interesting bugs down south!
