Lady Beetle Larva. Too soon to know more

 
Lady Bettle larva?
Found under a spruce tree. On the other side of the fence is my lane way fennel which has a resident colony of Harmonia axyridis.
No bristles evident. Larva entering pupa stage? It was gone when I looked for it again.

Photo #964305 Found an old photo of adult Brumus quadripustulatus that was taken in fennel patch. Larval photos show spots but have bristles ?
Did see adult in that area the other day Large hemlock in the garden.

 
How weird that you can't see
How weird that you can't see any little bristles at this level of magnification! It looks almost like it's made out of modeling clay. I kind of want to poke it and see it move...
