Came to lights (MVL with cotton sheet, side of house) Dense Hemlock and Deciduous forest on lakefront, Catskill mountains. Elevation 1800ft)

This is N. bistriaria, not lixaria. Note straight pm line and lack of strong vein spots on the fringe. Lixaria has entered NY in the last 10 years, but only along the coast.
