Size: 2 and 3/8 inches
My neighbor brought this over to me and we are thinking it may be a Rhino Beetle but are not sure. Can anyone tell me if these are running all over Delaware too? Thanks!

Hercules Beetle
This isn't a rhinoceros beetle its a Hercules beetle great find.

Dynastes tityus - Hercules Beetle
40-60 mm
According to my guide, the distribution is Southeastern United States, north to Indiana and New Jersey, west to Texas.

It also says they sometimes congregate in the fall on ash logs. I mention this in case you want to find some others.
