Came to MV lights on warm, humid night. I noticed during the photo shoot that this one was considerably smaller than another puffball beetle taken at the same time. The other looked like the species I had already posted quite a few shots of. The proportionally longer setae, the reddish head/pronotum, and the smaller size combined to give me the impression this is new species for me and for bugguide. (Now if we could just get a few names...)
