Never saw one of these very large hoppers around our area before finding this one on the side of our workshop building on 08/08/2017.
Pretty bug to photograph, too bad it's an invasive species . . . :-(

Wow that's the fourth county
in Pennsylvania now. Looks like they are moving southeast. Make sure to report this find to the Pennsylvania authorities

Yes, I read under the Info tab that sighting reports were wanted by the PA Dept of Agriculture, so I emailed them at BadBug@pa.gov with images and the sighting information before even posting my images here on bugguide. ;-)
